Data Interchange will be showcasing our EDI solution offerings and promoting the benefits of MMOG/LE
The Odette Conference 2014 is the premier automotive conference for Automotive Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications and IT, bringing together senior decision makers from around the globe.
Held over two days from 19th to 20th May at the Espace Tete D’Or in Lyon, France, the conference focuses on up and coming supply chain topics such as:
- Long distance supply chains
- Launch of MMOG/LE V4
- Role of EDI in the supply chain
For several years we have been heavily involved in the growth of MMOG/LE (Materials Management Operations Guidelines/Logistics Evaluation), and this will play a big part in this year’s event; version 4 was launched on the 5th May.
MMOG/LE is a global standard for supply chain management processes. A joint collaboration from the automotive standards bodies AIAG and Odette, MMOG/LE is a self-assessment tool that enables suppliers to develop common supply chain management practices.
Major OEMs such as General Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Chrysler and Renault are all active adopters of MMOG/LE along with Bosch, VW and BMW.
Data Interchange was an active member of the MMOG/LE V4 technical committee, providing expert advice and technical knowledge on EDI in the supply chain.
